I wrote, edited, & fact-checked this 104-page book to provide newly-arrived refugees with a lifeline for navigating work, money, health, & safety in the United States. It contains text, photos, QR codes, & write-in sections. It is also printed in Spanish, and translations are currently being editing in Dari, Arabic, & Swahili.

I published a book of poetry and photography in 2022 on the subject of cross-country moves, adventure, + self-discovery with the backdrop of a global pandemic. Printed copies are available for order online at Barnes & Noble and Amazon.

After earning my RYT-200 credential to be a Yoga Alliance-accredited practitioner, I started teaching a $4 all-levels class at the local community center to address the lack of accessible + affordable yoga in the city. Sessions focus on holistic health of mind, body, + spirit.

I play with a rock band named in the Top 10 Best Emo-Prog Bands of All Time by Loudwire in 2024. I contribute vocals, keys, saxophone, guitar, + some fun auxiliaries (melodica, sleigh bells, tamborine). Topiary Creatures released its 3rd full-length album this year.

Halfway through a 7-course Google certification program in UX/Product Design. Creating storyboards, wireframes, & functional prototypes. Learning about best practices for user research and inclusive, accessible design. Excited to share portfolio projects this year.
